Powell Contracting is a North Vancouver renovation and custom home builder committed to quality craftsmanship, strong collaboration, and client-first relationships across the Lower Mainland. From laneway houses to complex full-scale renovations, we treat every space like our own.

We're seeking a seasoned Lead Carpenter to take ownership of high-end residential renovation and custom build projects. You'll lead site crews, manage quality, and uphold Powell's standards from layout to final finish.

What You'll Do

Supervise and coordinate craftsmen and subcontractors on-site

Execute and inspect framing and finish carpentry

Layout and build stairs, roofs, foundations, and detailed architectural elements

Interpret blueprints and translate plans into precise on-site performance

Maintain job-site safety, organization, timeline adherence, and quality standards

What You Bring

810 years carpentry experience in residential construction

Strong competency in both framing and high-end finishing carpentry

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a crew of 4+ people

Thorough knowledge of BC building codes and construction best practices

Permanent resident or Canadian citizen with established ties to the Vancouver

area

Own tools and reliable vehicle preferred

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $38$45 per hour, based on experience and tools
